Taita Hills – Amboseli – Tsavo east
(Private Safari)

4-Day, 3-Night Safari

Day One

Departure around 06:30 from your resort.

If the safari is private, departure can also be arranged directly from the airport.

At 10:00 AM, we’ll arrive at the entrance of Taita Hills Park and begin the first game drive.

Around 1:00 PM, you will be taken to your lodge, built on stilts. Room check-in, buffet lunch, and time to relax until 3:00 PM.

At 3:30 PM, departure for the second game drive until sunset. Return to the lodge for dinner (buffet).

A NIGHT SAFARI OF 1 HOUR IS AVAILABLE IN THIS PARK, for an additional fee to be paid on-site.

At 8:00 PM the night safari begins, accompanied by a ranger. Return to the lodge is scheduled for 9:00 PM.

Day Two

Wake-up at 5:30 AM, breakfast and check-out, departure at 6:30 AM for a final game drive in Taita Hills.
Around 9:30 AM, we’ll leave Taita Hills and head to Amboseli National Park, arriving at around 1:00 PM.

Room check-in, lunch, and relaxation until 3:00 PM.

In Amboseli Park, you’ll admire the impressive Mount Kilimanjaro and enjoy the breathtaking savannah landscape.

At 3:30 PM, we’ll depart for the game drive until sunset, then return to the lodge/camp for dinner (buffet).

Day Three

Early wake-up, breakfast, check-out, and departure at 6:30 AM for a final game drive and visit to a Maasai village.
Inside the boma, the Maasai will welcome you with traditional dances and prayers. They’ll show you their natural remedies made from tree bark, how to make fire using wood and twigs, and at the end of the tour, you’ll have the chance to buy handmade souvenirs from the Maasai women.

Around 9:00 AM, we’ll leave Amboseli Park and head to Tsavo East, arriving around 12:00 PM. Short game drive, followed by lunch and check-in at the lodge/camp. Relaxation until 3:00 PM.

At 3:30 PM, departure for a final game drive until sunset, then return for dinner.

Day Four

Wake-up at 5:00 AM, breakfast and check-out. Departure at 6:00 AM for the last game drive inside Tsavo East Park.
At 10:00 AM, we’ll exit the park and drive along the Galana River before continuing the journey back to Watamu.

Return to your resort is expected around 2:00 PM.

Information and Equipment

Very important: you must bring your passport with you during the safari trip.

Recommended clothing for the safari:

Light clothing for the day and warmer clothes for the evening, hat, sunglasses, swimsuit, sunscreen, tropical mosquito repellent, universal power adapter.
A small travel pharmacy if needed.

Tips:

During your stay at the lodge/camp, there may be scheduled times without electricity. It’s advisable to charge all your electronic devices before the trip. A power bank and/or spare batteries are highly recommended to avoid unpleasant situations.

To ensure good mobile coverage, we recommend purchasing a local Kenyan SIM card.
