Taita Hills - Amboseli - Tasavo east
Safari of 4 days and 3 nights
Day One
We depart early in the morning, at 06:30 you will be picked up from your resort or private house, a quick coffee and off you go, 07:00 departure to Taita Hills, you will travel in a 4x4 Jeep.
At 10:00 am we will be at the entrance to Taita Hills Park and the first game drive will begin.
At around 12:30/ 13:00 you will be escorted to your lodge built on stilts, check-in for your room.
Buffet lunch and relaxation until 15:00.
In the afternoon, the animals rest due to the heat.
At 15:30 departure for the second game drive until sunset, you will return for dinner (buffet).
At 20:30 the night safari begins accompanied by a ranger and at 22:30 we return to the lodge.
Day Two
Wake up at 05:30, breakfast and check out, 06:30 departure for the last park tour and game drive.
At approximately 09:30 we leave Taita Hills and head for Amboseli National Park where we arrive by 13:00. Room check-in, lunch and relaxation until 15:00.
In Amboseli Park you will be able to admire the imposing Mount Kilimanjaro and enjoy the savannah panorama.
At 15:30 departure for the game drive until sunset and then return to the lodge for dinner.
Day Three
Wake up early, breakfast, check-out and departure at 06:30 for the last Game Drive.
At around 09:00 we leave Amboseli park to head towards Tsavo East park where we will arrive by 12:00, mini Game Drive and arrival at the Lodge or tented camp for lunch, Check-in room and relax until 15:00.
At 15:30 depart for the Game Drive until sunset and then return to the lodge for dinner.
Day Four
Wake up at 05:30, breakfast and check-out, 06:30 departure for the last park tour and game drive inside Tsavo East Park
At 10:00 am we will exit the national park, on the return journey we will walk along the Galana River, and then continue the journey to your Resort and/or private home at 13:00 pm.
The safari I organise includes:
- Entrance fees to parks
- Accommodation in lodges or tented camps full board excluding drinks
- All transfers will be made in a 4X4 Jeep.
- You will be accompanied by professional and licensed drivers who are knowledgeable about the place and the animals that inhabit the Savanna.
Information and equipment
It is very important to carry your passport with you on any trip.
For safaris, it would be advisable to be equipped with sunglasses, headgear and sun cream, and for those who want a mosquito repellent (inland there are usually not too many mosquitoes).
For those who need it, a small travel pharmacy is available.
During your stay in the logde or tented camp, you will be instructed when the power will be out, so it would be a good idea to charge all your electronic devices before your trip, a power bank and/or spare battery for your devices are always indicated so that you do not find yourself in unpleasant situations.
Internet connections: In order to always find good coverage, it is recommended that you buy a Kenyan Sim card (Safaricom) so that you can use your mobile phone at any time.
