Gede Ruins National Monument
(Group Excursion)

A small but culture-rich excursion, this is one of the few archaeological sites in Kenya, located in Gede. It can be visited at any time of the day. You’ll travel by car, or for the more adventurous, by piki piki (motorbike). It’s a popular tourist attraction near the coastal town of Watamu, where you’ll discover the historical and cultural aspects of this ancient city surrounded by lush vegetation.

At the beginning of the tour, you’ll have the chance to feed the friendly monkeys with bananas — they’ll be happy to pose for photos and selfies with you.

You will be taken back to your accommodation in the late afternoon.

This fun excursion can be combined with: Malindi Tour, Robinson Island, Golden Beach, and Marafa.

The excursion includes:

- Transportation by car or motorbike

- Entrance ticket to the Ruins of Gede

- Bananas to feed the Gede monkeys
